In memorium

Back blipping Tuesday.
Bob passed away peacefully early Tuesday afternoon with my sister in law and nephew beside him. No one would have wanted him to suffer any longer.
Bob was an amazing guy. Grew up in a large working class family. Left school at 15 and went into the motor trade. During his apprenticeship he went on a long course with Outward Bound and fell in love with the challenges of caving and mountaineering.
He travelled the world climbing many of the worlds highest mountains and exploring some of the most challenging underground cave systems.
He should have had another 20 years but lived his 68 years to the full.
Its hard to lose a sibling but Bob had few regrets. I sloped off to the allotment and watched Ivan work. Bob was a keen allotmenteer. He would have approved.
