Acmena smithii is 'bush tukka' and harvested traditionally for the sweet, tangy berries and as 'medicine berries' for the immune properties.

These come from a tree in the garden of Mum's friend B where it grows tall,strong and laden with fruit...and pruned as they can grow to 20m!
Also grown as a fruiting hedge that sounds like the go for a garden fenceline ...and productive.
