For Dad

Today would have been my fathers 73 birthday (sadly taken from us in 2014 by the Big C) I missed him today and thought about him a lot and was sad not to be sharing it with him. To take my mind off things mum in law took me shopping and we brought lots of daft fun things that we didn't need but most definitely wanted and I think that's shopping of the best kind! Then we brought over indulgent food for dinner and raised a glass to my da it was lovely. When I was young my dad was in the RAF, and I remember when not off on duty he had a camera round his neck.......I never learned from him ....I hope he would be proud im learning now.....and as my father was a man who always encouraged you to learn and try new things........my first attempt at insect photography!

Tomorrow will be a very! tough day for a different reason  but will get up, put on my big girl pants, and see what it brings .........hopefully finding the good in the day and not the bad.
