Brief Encounter

There I am, strolling along Princes St minding my own business and I realise there's a woman shouting at me:
"English!" Then I realise it's actually "English?" as in "Do you speak English?"
Me - "eh, yes"
Her, pointing at the castle - "Izzat the castle?"
Me - "eh, yes'
Her - "Ah thought it'd be bigger."
Me, man of many words - "It is bigger."
Her - "Aw, does it go a' the way round then?"
Me - "Yes"
Her - "We wuz just walking along."
Me - nope, nothing sprang to mind. And she was off anyway.
