Missus Orange tip

D went off to Blackness at sparrowfart and I went up to the allotment, attempting to ignore the occasional drizzle. There were lots of bees and butterflies about, dodging the droplets. I was particularly charmed by the underwings of this female orange tip - and look at her furry little face! There was a male flitting about too (see extra) so let's hope for lots more orange tips next year.

In the evening we went to the Vaults to meet up with Uwe and K - lovely to see them along with nice food, good blether, and delicious drams!
