Chillington Manor
We've now completed the handover to the agency that will be selling ads for the magazine. They are based in Maidstone, and so I had another trip down on the M11-M25-M2. Maidstone is a nice town. I explored a bit more this time, and chanced upon this quirky extension of the town's museum. At first I thought it was a reproduction-style modern extension, but in fact it is an original Tudor bit of Chillington Manor, the Elizabethan house that became the museum. I've never seen a chapel tower quite like it!
The builders made excellent progress today. Looks like all the digging is completed and they've got the drain pipes ready to lay, and it's only day 2! Our new front door arrived today as well. Very red. :-)
