Blue Jay Headshot

I was trying for a hummer shot when this Jay flew in. I could not resist! 

*Sad Note...shortly after I took the frog shots that I shared with you yesterday, a large Red-shouldered Hawk swooped down, splashed in the pond for a few seconds and then flew off with one of the three Bullfrogs. It happened so fast that I didn't have time to grab my camera, but I'll forever remember the sight of the frog dangling as Ms Hawk carried it off. Her chicks ate well yesterday!
