La Petite Petanque....

A trip to Southend today with my parents as they had a complaint to make to their bank and I wanted to visit Waterstones as a local Author I enjoy , Syd Moore, was signing copies of her new book that is released today - Strange Tombs - so it was lovely to meet her and get my copy signed! Another book for the 'To Be Read' pile!

Then we stopped at a small restaurant we'd never visited before for lunch and it's fair to say we loved it and can't wait to go back! Always nice to find these hidden gems as it's just off the busy high street and it was so quiet, the staff were so friendly and helpful and it overlooks the bowling green and has a wisteria that looked and smelt amazing!
