Traditions

The 20 somethings in our office are typical of their generation. In general, there is no sense of tradition, no sense of the collective.

It was therefore strange to some today that we briefly decorated our wee office to celebrate a colleague's birthday.

Nothing fancy as you can see from the image. Printed out with much love for the recipient though. Oor Lisa is a gem - takes everything in her stride, so nice to acknowledge her special day - cake included!

But, honestly, the 20 somethings didn't get it.

I'm getting really, really old.
