infinity project

This past semester I curated a gallery exhibit of Josh Simpson's glass artwork. His work is wonderfully intricate and mesmerizing to look at.

Today, I received two of Josh's glass "planets" in the mail so that I can participate in his Infinity Project. The project is an experiment in which participants place a planet somewhere in the world, where it is left to be discovered years, decades, or centuries later.

I will be placing one of these planets in Rishikesh, India, where I will be studying to become a yoga teacher later next year. The other is for me to keep :)
