I laid on my horn,
like the Piper Pied.
But the swan stayed put,
in the game of seek and hide.

I took the shot while in my van,
sitting on my backside.
But I stayed long enough to wait him out...
in the game of seek and hide.

Good thing the swan is colorful,
all dressed in the coat of white.
It made it easy to spot him,
'cuz the coat is very bright.
