Revolutionary Road

Just finished this tonight. Really good.
The second hand book stall in the hospital throws up some pleasant surprises now & then, and this was one.
It's ages since I've finished a novel.. managed a couple of short story collections to build back up to a 'proper' book. Set in 1950s suburban US, but era & location don't matter so much - it's about humans & has real insight into how they tick, and sympathy with their faults & failings.
