Brooches galore!

It's my friend Barbara's birthday tomorrow but we celebrated early and quietly this morning, with coffee and toasted teacakes in Java & Chai tearooms in Hayes. 

Then a pootle in a couple of charity shops. Such different styles! One with lots of jewellery and glass in locked glass cabinets, the other with anything and everything packed in tightly. This dressmakers dummy in the first shop, was so well used to display umpteen broaches. The price tags gave the look of the fringe on a Charleston dress!!
