The Wednesday Skite.......!!

Since my friend retired we’ve managed to go on a day out most Wednesdays....so, a ‘skite ‘ is our description of a short number of hours or up to a day long outing....!
Today’s was very enjoyable...we were lucky with the weather!!
Apart from a couple of big drops of rain we escaped dry on our walkabout...
There’s a prize if you can guess where we were......I joke ...!!!
It I would recommend that if you are ever in my ‘neck of 5e woods’ I will take you there.....!
It’s our National Stud and Japanese Gardens which now also incorporates St. Fiachras Gardens too...
That’s him sat on the edge of the water contemplating life in one of the most peaceful, scenic spots you could find and we had it all to ourselves today except for the sound of the birds singing...!
We saw the 5 stallions ‘at stud’ there at 5e moment bewtween them worth millions of euros....and they won hundreds of thousands of euros when they were racehorses....we also saw 3 foals just born on Monday night...quite a sight, really beautiful!
The red bridge is obviously the ‘iconic’ sight in the Japanese Garden...
And ‘Buglington’ is the very posh home of many different bugs!
And the trees and shrubs are stunning their beauty speaks for itself....
There would be no problem spending a whole day there!!!
