Caen Hill (Sunday 28th April 2019)
I've been trying to catch up with myself since Thursday's outing but am still some days behind with processing and blipping. I was out for most of Sunday and, as is my custom, called in at Caen Hill on the way back.
The swans were both present, with the pen swan on the nest and the cob by its side, and a heron and a buzzard both flew over my head. There was also a sole Canada goose below the Prison Bridge, honking continually until it suddenly took off angrily, still honking, and settled further down.
I was looking for wildflowers for Miranda1008's challenge but I realise I've probably missed the deadline (so don't worry, Miranda) but I did like this classic combo of daisies and buttercups. The Extras are pretty commonplace too, but none the worse for that.
