A mug's life

I've been very dilatory today, finding momentum very hard to summon. Eventually at teatime I sat with H. at the big table as she worked at her various affairs and we had a cup of tea. Actually they were mugs and after eating my quite delicious coffee and walnut cake, I sat back in my chair. I half-heartedly watched the live streaming of the US Senate hearing's quizzing of their rather dodgy Attorney General William Barr, he who said the Mueller Report 'exonerates the president'. It is very sad.

I picked up my camera and took a couple of odd snaps, one of which was of my empty mug. When I looked at it more closely on the screen my eye. caught a tiny crop in one of the control panels, which looked more interesting, so I cropped the actual image to match. This is where I've got to with my blipping these days!
