A tug of war?

I think these are two Lesser Black-Backed Gulls having a bit of a stramash in the centre of Argyll Street in Glasgow.

I thought at first they were fighting over a bit of bread but there was no obvious sign of any food. Whatever they were up to they were making a terrible racket for quite some time.

As usual I was the only person nutty enough to take a photo of two squabbling birds!
