Solace Day 3 - Peaceful

A much more pleasant day today! Not very much moving on the canal the only busy place was Fradley Junction.  The blip shows just how nice it can be!

As the afternoon went on we went slower.... and slower. A look and feel into the weed hatch was needed. The weed hatch is a small hole cut into the floor of the rear deck so you can find out what-the-heck has got itself wound round the propeller and cut it off. Our problem was a large tough plastic back and some form of rope netting. Photo in Extras

Thereafter the going was much better, AND, in the evening we actually got a telly signal so we could watch F1.
