It May happen.....

....it did happen! Got up at the ridiculously early hour of 5am this morning to join in the May Day sunrise celebrations in neighbouring Standon village. These did too....clutching their bunches of May  blossom. Morris dancers, music, song. A peculiarly English tradition - long may it continue. Sadly the local pub that normally opens for an early pint and bacon butty failed to do so. Disappointed faces all round
