Going west day 5

We left Blackwell, Oklahoma today in pouring rain and it continued for most of the day.  Joyce drove first so I was able to take photos out the window as we rode into Kansas on I-35 and then headed west on I-70 to Denver.  This was an old windmill that was sitting in a field.  It was barely visible in the fog and the sky was completely gray.    It is definitely minimal so I am tagging it for the community challenge.  

We are now at our hotel in Denver near the airport after driving 8 hours and 570 miles.  We will meet up with Diane tomorrow morning and have plans to go south to Colorado Springs for a visit to the Garden of the Gods and meet up with blipper Still and Know but the weather might not cooperate with us.    It is going to be cool and possibly rainy but hoping the rain lets up long enough for us to get out and about to do some walking.      Keep your fingers crossed!!
