Clematis

This plant I grew from a cutting some time ago. It used to be on the patio in a pot but had to be moved when we had the conservatory built, The root had grown through the pot and had to be cut through. I thought it wouldn't have much of a chance but here it is this year full of flowers and looking better than ever growing up the side of the wall where I dumped it.

Saga of the bed base continues:- No word from the carrier so yesterday Paula contacted the dealer and asked what was going on she had a reply that they had no idea that it had gone astray and they would look into it, they got back with lots of apologies, and said they would sort it out. She then got an email today saying it had been dispatched to the carrier and would be delivered on Friday,  she would receive an email giving a time slot for delivery. Now that's going to be fun, because on Friday we have the Tour De Yorkshire coming through the village (which I might say is looking great with lots and lots of bunting right the way through criss-crossing the route) and guess what, the roads will be closed in the morning for the Ladies race and in the afternoon for the men's race. There is about a three hour slot midday  when it's open. Local people will be able to slip in and out but even the buses are being re-routed during the road closures so we await with bated breath, will we get the bed base or not. Paula is a bit fed up of sleeping at ground level, it's very difficult when you are elderly to get up from down there.

Had a lovely misty walk on the park today with Molly, she was greeting all the people and dogs with her usual noise, she can be very vocal can Molly almost talks to folks.
