Hopeful

The two women pictured here were selling bread on the side of the road between Zihuatanejo and Lazaro Cardenas, where we went today for a bit of shopping. The topes (speed bumps) slowed the passing cars down from highway speeds, but I never saw one slow enough to make a purchase. I always think in this situation that this technique must work, otherwise these ever present vendors would do something else.
