Boat Bay

This is a real trip down Memory Lane as this is where we came on holiday from 1950 when I was 6 months old until the mid 1990s.   We camped in a field above the beach which had 3 caravans.   It is now one of the largest sites in the area.   We visited every year for about 46 years without a break and often several times a year after my parents bought a bungalow nearby.

The beach in the foreground is Boat Bay and the large one in the distance is Harlyn Bay.

A couple of years ago I blipped a postcard and souvenir with this exact view.   The interesting thing is that the people in the picture are me and my family with our boats.  It  became one of the best selling postcards and was on sale for years
