Our treat

We have driven up to Northumberland today.
A nice three day break to treat ourselves ;-)

This is our base, in a little,place called Chathill, just past Alnwick.

We stopped off for a bit of lunch, en route, i. Walkingmarj territory, Haltwhistle to be precise. We saw a beautiful B&B that we could be tempted by, if/when we visit is area again, which I am sure we will, judging by what weve seen so far!!

We have a lovely room, weve booked ourselves in to,the Spa for a couple of treatments on Wednesday morning, after a swim :-)

Tomorrow we plan to go a little,further north.
The forecast is looking good, think we might be lucky!

We've just had a gorgeous dinner.......trying not to be a ganet! ;-) Smoked duck parfait, pan roasted halibut......no dessert, so thats something.....although there was lovely bread, and arancini balls as extras :-/ Oh and a G&T.....and wine of course, oh what the hell, in for a penny in for a pound ;-)
