Wouldn't have chosen it myself

I had applied for 2 jobs and received 3 phone calls from agencies by 10 am this morning and because I woke up with a cold, I decided to sit outside and crochet instead.

Despite running a crochet/knit group, it's been ages since I've worked on my own project and it was really nice to concentrate on the stitch pattern and have a break from filling out another application form. 

This is the Scheepjes Whirl I bought at the knitting and mindfulness talk I went to and (I think) I'm pleased my friends talked me into buying something bright and colourful.
