birds in the garden

quiet day just relaxing and chatting. two trips to the shops, including the supermarket - I love the american supermarkets!! My sister in law's brother, who lives in Virginia but is in this area for the holiday, dropped in for a couple of hours. I have known him a long time but I don't like him. Neither does Kathy actually!! The house is surrounded by trees and Kathy spends a lot of time watching the birds on the feeders. They have wonderful birds here, so exotic, including the red cardinals, the male is in the photo as well as maybe a finch and a chickadee. I also saw a blue jay, but maybe that will be for another day!! just about to give my brother a break by making the dinner, and hope to get a look at some of your journals later.
