I wonder if anyone will spot the literary connection of this pic?  It involved another quick visit through to Rackwick just to ensure the run of recent fine days has continued.

Later we met in with the Sutherland Clan which has gathered in Stromness to get the festivities underway for Phyllis’ 90th birthday.  We bottomed out my Mum’s flat, CMC then beat eggs for an omelette and I beat a hasty retreat.
