Visiting

After breakfast Jacqui and I headed out again, over to Aldershot Military Cemetery to visit Mum and Dad.
Due to roadworks we couldn’t enter through the normal gate which left the steep descent from the chapel gate. The normal peaceful atmosphere was disturbed for a minute or two as we reversed up after taking the wrong route down. The cemetery is an oasis of calm amidst the bustle of Aldershot centre just a stones throw away.
We put fresh flowers on Mum and Dad’s grave plus Phil’s knowing full well that the deer would eat them over the next twenty-four hours.
Joshua arrived in the evening and we all headed out to the Cricketers at Horsell for a birthday meal. Great food but I should fast for a Day or so to compensate.
