Turtles Galore--Reflected!

Back to Fort River refuge in the afternoon (after the eye doctor over midday). More painted turtles than previously on this log--just before a breeze came up which ruffled their reflections (don't miss them against the black--click the double arrows). The turtles were early on, followed by fewer birds than we ever recalled seeing (granted, afternoon is not best for birding).  But an eastern phoebe posed nicely at the end (though back-lit); a nice contrast to this extra two weeks ago.
