Birthday orchid.

Last year a friend gave me this orchid for my birthday. I didn't know anything about orchids (other than how beautiful they are), so despite my research, I thought it would die. However, 12 months on, it is in bloom. How lovely that they flower annually - I have kept it alive for a whole year. Here's to being another year older!
