Shield bug party

Quite a party! Brassica Shield Bugs enjoying the sun and company of others on the leaves of Jack-by-the-hedge.

My day started at the garage where my van was being treated to new rear brake discs and pads. One of the mechanics gave me a lift to work where the crazy 9 month old whippet puppy gave me a very enthusiastic welcome, it's nice to be appreciated!

It has been a lovely day and quite physical, digging, weeding and mulching.

Some of the grass at mine has finally been cut this evening and my guitar had a few minutes attention.
