Aftermath

Blippers may have read of the moorland fires that have been raging along the  Lancashire/Yorkshire border recently.  This is Saddleworth Moor - just outside Oldham - where 700 acres of moorland have been devastated.  West Yorkshire Fire Service say the fire was started by people having a barbecue.  This moorland is home to ground-nesting birds - now there's nothing left.
