Duchess of Sutherland

This beauty of a steam locomotive made a visit to Hereford at lunchtime.  I managed to get onto the platform as well but it was so very busy.  Fabulous to see.  Whilst standing on the bridge together with other photographers the conversation was very pleasant, however the students from the local college were not so pleasant making rather rude comments as they passed.  I secretly love trains like this.  I had to go today purely because when I was little my dad would love to see them and often would have us walking up to the nearest bridge to 'Wave' at the old train.  Happy memories.  Lovely quick hour away from work.
