This piece of wood + that big bandsaw = 2 hours in hospital.

Lost control of said piece of wood and it got thrown by the blade on top of my hand. Cue one very shaken lady, some blood and one very swollen thumb. I dealt with it for a bit following some first aid. However, when I was offered a lift to the Western, I jumped at it to confirm whether or not my thumb was broken.

Fortunately it's not - just heavily bruised but I've been warned that it might get bloody sore over the next few days.

What a way to spend my last day at work...
