He will be 15 in a couple of days; today we celebrated with an abundant brunch, followed by a shopping trip to Adidas in Portland. We read from a booklet that his second grade classmates had written years ago, each saying something about him. "He is good in math", "he is funny" and "he is kind" are still true today. My favorite was: "He is good at making nests", though it was unclear as to what that was all about. A fine man he is.
