Spring

I got together with my sister to watch Project Runway this afternoon,; the right person won, but none of the garments were particularly impressive.  Then we spent some time admiring her garden and looking at the new plants she bought yesterday.  This bee balm was one of them, which is now living at the base of her rock garden.  I hadn't seen it before, and like the color and shape of the flowers.  Her whole garden is in bloom right now, and lovely to see.  For her birthday, I am going to give her a new large planter pot for the patio; we'll be shopping for it on Friday.

If I can keep my energy up, I'll be making a beef stew this evening, then tomorrow more meatloaf.  Sunshine helps with this.
