Salade Niçoise

Lunch today a was slightly unconventional take on a salade Niçoise (bell pepper instead of green beans, most of the components tossed instead of served as a composed salad). It was pretty good and fit my mood perfectly. The bread served with it was nice and fresh, but a bit excessive; does one really need a personal loaf with lunch?
