Music makes the world go round

It's had a great and positive influence on my life.  Last night, at short notice I met up with some lovely people I grew up with in Croydon, most of whom now work in the industry as teachers, players, composers, arrangers.  As an amateur player I'm not in the same league and I'm still in awe of their achievements.

But Linton Jazz is where I'm at, and where I'm happy.  We had a super rehearsal tonight preparing for performing at The Bartlow Walk next weekend.  An experimental 'mini-world' photo of the rehearsal room! 

I feel so fortunate to have had these opportunities and friendships that have gone on to impact the rest of my life so positively.
