Waiting

It started with waiting for my dinner to be ready, then it was waiting for the oven to heat up, which it clearly wasn't going to do since it was bust. Then I had to wait for the next days business hours so I could organise a repair. Then you have to wait for the day they can visit, and wait again on the day for when they might appear, sometime before noon. I wait until 11:35am then he rings, he's lost, I wait by the window so I can wave to him. I wait whilst observing his very basic repair I could have done, whilst listening to his inane ramblings, he is the most talkative engineer I've ever met. Then ..

Whoopee, the waiting is over, but my day is in tatters, and I'm nearly a £100 down! I suppose I'd hoped he'd show earlier in the morning.

Never mind tomorrow is another day with no waiting for anything, just maybe the oven to cook my dinner!
