Grove Airfield

Today I took a walk around the old taxi ways of Grove Airfield. This was operational during WW2 For British and American planes.. the runways can still be seen from the sky, although it been shut since 1960.
If you look at the map, go on satellite view, zoom out a bit, you will see lines through the field crossing each other, with a triangle in the middle. These lines are the runways.

They will soon be gone forever when they build 2,500 houses on them.
