Magnolia

The old lady who had lived in this house died over the winter.  She spent the last years of her life as a virtual shut-in and was not able to keep up with the kind of ordinary maintenance that every house requires.  As a result, things that were small problems in the beginning have grown into serious issues. 
    But the magnolia is still beautiful.

    Somehow that's sad.
