Going West Day 3

We are traveling the back roads today from Paducah to Harrison, Arkansas to visit the Buffalo National River area in the Ozark Mountains.  A six hour drive along Hwy 60 to Hwy 412.     We travel 369 miles today.  

Saw these rusted out vehicles at Imoden and had to make a u turn for a derelict Sunday photo.  

Road trips on two lane back roads are always interesting!

In the extra is a stop we made at Buffalo Point near Yellville along the river.       Tomorrow we will hopefully be a little hiking time but there is some rain forecast for the morning so we will see how that goes.     We  then have to cross part of Oklahoma and make our way to Kansas to get  on the road  to Denver by Tuesday evening!    No problem though as there is not too much to see except open road and sky on that portion of the trip.
