Pilot Office

We had intended to go to a National Trust property, Blickling Hall, this morning, but the forecast didn't look too clever and neither of us was feeling particularly lively, so we had a change of plan. A leisurely saunter round King's Lynn instead, ironically with much better weather than forecast, and lunch at Prezzo on the Tuesday Market. This is the Pilot Office (if you are viewing this large you may be able to make out the white lettering of the signage) at Common Staithe Quay. This 19th century building reflects the centuries of rich maritime commercial heritage in Lynn. Fascinating town.
