You shall go to the ball!

I just couldn't resist this lovely tree ornament, which I bought when we were in York the other day.
It reminded me of Cinderella and the glass slipper.
I thought that once Christmas was over I would display it in the bedroom. It is too nice to put away until next year.

The supermarket this morning was a mad house! I left Mr C to find a parking place as everywhere was full. Any how fortunately it didn't take him too long.
Then had a long wait to the check out.

Monday won't be too bad as we only have the fresh produce to buy from our local farm shops, so no trouble parking, or queing.

Have caught up with the ironing, and most presents now wrapped.
Friends called this afternoon, which was nice. We haven't seen them for ages, so caught up on all the news and gossip!

I hope our family are having a good journey to Cornwall, and the roads aren't too busy, or the weather bad. Not a nice journey in the dark at this time of year.
