Strawberries and Cream

This is going to be dessert after lunch: strawberries and Gruyère double cream!
I made a collage to show you the thick cream already in the little jug. It will be too thick to pour, so we use a spoon! The fruit has been washed and dried ready to slice and sweeten with a little Sucanat cane sugar.
On the lower part of the collage, you can see the dessert I gave my grandson who came to lunch and to celebrate his birthday a little later than the actual day. I had bought him two vinyl records (as he loves his new record player). He likes traditional jazz, so one was Louis Armstrong and the other Dave Brubeck. Remember "Take Five"?
