Jobs
It was a bit of a funny day with lots of at-home jobs. I kept returning to bed though and actually got quite sad as the day progressed.
A trip to McDonald’s with Charlie brightened me to an extent but I was a little caught in my thoughts. I was struck that she thought I’d been treated really badly by people but I don’t know whether I’ve previously fed her biased or incomplete information.
I’ve been glad that I’m seeing Brent on Monday.
Psalm 91:9-10 have given me some comfort over the last few days.
‘If you say, ‘The Lord is my refuge,’ and make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.’
Obviously bad things do happen to believers , but this reminds me that, if God is my refuge, I can never be separated from Him and will be with Him eternally. I might be hurt or rejected, I might lose everything but I will never lose God, the one who gives me all things. I am safe in Him. He is with me always.
