For those who drop by you will have read about my battle with these new tyres

These wheels run without inner tubes which is new tech for road bikes.

The tyres have tough beads that sit in grooves inside the rim.

The mavic wheels come with their own tyres which were great to start with but wore out very quickly.

These continental tyres are meant to be very good..... but what a nightmare to fit. Gave up last weekend after 2 hrs. After quite a bit of you tube research a combination of tips got them on. .. just.

I almost gave in but at nearly £60 per tyre I wasn’t going to waste that without a fight.
