First BBQ

Since the weather was still summery, we planned to have our first BBQ in the garden.
We drove to Costco to get a lovely rib of beef and some haloumi and after we had unloaded the car we went for a walk through the sunny westend.
We stopped at Perch and Rest for a coffee and then walked through the park to the bottom of Byres road to get some Ice cream at the University Café.
Unfortunately Nardinis have closed their iconic Ice Cream parlour early in the year due to some unclear reasons! 
A huge loss as their ice cream was fantastic. Uni Café cannot live up to it :(. Far too sweet, and I will not be rushing back for more.
Back at home we prepared for the garden and were surprised that non of the neighbours had the same idea!
We had grill and garden for ourselves.
We enjoyed the food and half a bottle of wine and retired to the couch feeling very full.

Had not taken a lot of photos, thus there is Neil enjoying his wine and looking forward to a huge piece of proper rare beef.
