Day 4

More miles covered.
As we were travelling in Effie and in the area, we were invited to a friends place to see their wonderful new home and garage. The house belongs to a couple who used to own Effie in the late 60s (second owner I think) so it was lovely to show them that we are using the car. There may have been some rolling of eyes though as we described the weather we'd driven through!
For the eagle eyed out there you will see Effie (and pals) in the mirror as I was in something more modern.
Continued south to meet up with the rest of the group. An excellent evening catching up with everyone.
