ANZAC day 2019

I enjoy our yearly ritual of hauling people out of bed at 530am and making our way to the same spot on the bank to watch the dawn parade. Every year there is a little less child-grumping and a little more appreciation for the countless lives lost at war so we can enjoy the relative peace our country provides us. 

Food for thought with the inclusion this year of the recent loss our Muslim community has faced in Christchurch. So much to be thankful for and also so much room to growth to make our communities a safer place for us all.
